Rochester Celebrates 40 Years in Business

2006 marks the milestone of 40 years in business for Rochester and Associates, Inc., a Georgia-based land development consulting firm. In order to commemorate this special year, the firm’s employees are partnering with several of their clients to build a Habitat for Humanity House in South Atlanta.

“Building this home gives us the opportunity to share of our time and resources to contribute to the needs of the community in a very real and tangible way,” said Jeff Carson, Project Manager at Rochester as well as Project Manager for the Habitat Project. “Residential land development is how we built this firm so this enables us go back to our roots as well as fulfill our company’s purpose – positively impacting people. We are excited about working with our fellow employees and clients on this endeavor.”

The House also ties into the Company’s 40th Anniversary theme – “The American Dream”. This theme was derived in order to pay homage to the company’s founder, B. Keith Rochester, in how he successfully created his own American dream and founded the company. Rochester passed away in 2004. Today the company is run by his sons, Darrell and Brian Rochester.

Since 1966, Rochester has grown to serve the east coast, specializing in providing land surveying, civil engineering and project management services for residential and commercial projects for both private and public sector clients.

Specializing in mixed-use, master-planned communities, Rochester engineered and planned high-profile projects including Road Atlanta, the Atlanta Falcons training complex and corporate headquarters, Lake Lanier Islands Resort, Tournament Players Club at Sugarloaf, the Golf Club of Georgia and Peachtree City.
