Vickery
In 2005, Rochester completed survey,
design and project management services for Vickery, a classically
inspired neighborhood in South Forsyth County. The 214 acre community
features 431 single family detached homes, 125 townhomes, lofts
and live-work units, 150,000 square feet of retail and office
space, a 50,000 square foot YMCA and 75 acres of parks and green
space. The neighborhood development is rooted in traditional town
planning with a focus on classical architectural style.
The community developer is award-winning Hedgewood Properties,
a company that has built and sold over 2500 homes since 1985.
As one of Atlanta’s leading builders, Hedgewood focuses on "smart
growth". They concentrate development efforts on a mix of sustainable
communities for both suburban and in-town homebuyers.
