Atlantic Station
Atlantic Station is a 138-acre master
planned community and redevelopment project. Rochester converted
the structure's design elevations to a Terramodel digital terrain
model, which allowed a bull-dozer equipped with Trimble's BladePro3D
product to carry the necessary information for rock and paving
surface elevations on-board at all times. The system uses a
robotic total station to automatically adjust the blade elevation
and angle at any location of the dozer on the
job site.
