HUNTER ARMY AIR FIELD HOUSING PROJECT

Rochester contracted with TETRA TECH and Balfour Beatty Communities as part of a larger $463 million dollar project to provide privatized housing for Hunter Army Air Field. Ninety-eight new single family housing units were constructed on approximately 90 acres of land. Rochester performed a boundary survey, utility locate, wetland locate, tree and topographic survey in preparation for the community developement by Balfour Beatty Communities. This property is unique in that it is bounded by two canals, required topography in contours more precise than 1 foot in places, and required the location of over 2600 hardwoods trees.
