Piedmont College Baseball Complex

Project Description

The Piedmont College Loudermilk Baseball Complex project includes a baseball field includes batting cage, bullpen, dugouts, concession stand, restrooms, clubhouse/locker room, press box with covered chair-back seating and old-fashioned bleachers. The park was designed to remind fans of the classic ballparks from baseball's golden age during the 1930s and 1940s. Rochester was responsible for the survey and civil design. Also included in the design is an indoor facility, a fully-functional indoor practice facility that includes an astroturf area, batting cages and an annex of the Johnny Mize Baseball Museum. The indoor complex also houses the Lions’ locker room with player lockers and a laundry facility.
